Jill, Frida and I spent a delightful 2 hours with a friend this morning at her place. It is a large property with fruit and nut trees and a beautiful garden …plus a very friendly goat!

It’s been trying to rain this afternoon- just as I was plaiting garlic outside, so that job wasn’t completed. So I spent some time thinking about “what next” for editing oral history stories.

We are going to my nephew’s for dinner tonight - it’s been lovely having him and his family in town. They are great outdoor enthusiasts, so it will be good to hear about all their tramps before they go back home.
