Isosceles
I had to reassure the van driver that my interest in his van was visual only.
Very different from a 27-year-old's interest in me this evening as I was walking home from a good evening out with friends. Definitely a chat-up (he feigned surprise at my age and said I looked 17 years younger than I am!) but I suspect his real interest was in a room to sleep in. Sorry. I know how hard it is to find an affordable place to live, but that's not happening.
My evening out was to see Luke Wright's latest show, Joy! I adored his previous show but, although he's just as good a poet as he was, this one didn't hang together quite so well. I was amused, though, when he recounted a friend telling him it was not possible to write about joy if you focus on it; you have to look at a brick wall and let your subconscious come up with the joy. I guess I should have told him that some of us find brick walls joyous.
OK, one of us does.
