Bristol blue and green

- Early start, waited in a coffee shop for daylight before I negotiated ‘the lane’ leading to work.
- Glad of well heated, quick defrosting, heavy duty hire car in this week’s weather!
- Found myself following two small deer bounding down the middle of the road. I hope they found a gap in the hedge further down the lane. Thought I was seeing things!
- Drove into the big city tonight for writers’ annual January dinner. Like the contrast of futuristic building and ancient tree (and the contrasting colours!).
