TRACKS IN THE SAND

67 miles away from Pacific Palisades, where the fire started. The wind has calmed down only to be up again tonight.
A friend called this morning and asked me if I wanted to go to the beach for a walk. There was a huge white plume on the horizon as a reminder that there is still an inferno going on. I am watching the Public TV station, they always interview experts, also bring the news about President Carter's funeral etc. 
The scenario in LA reminds us to be ready in case of an emergency.READY! SET! GO!
