Seeds
The temperature has dropped, it’s cold but bright with a blue sky. Just lovely, and such a contrast to The recent gloomy and dark days.
I had to get myself organised and packed a bag as we were heading to York to visit TT’s mum.
TT was in no rush to leave, so knowing that we would be sitting in the car for a while, once I was organised I took the opportunity to get out for a quick walk. It was just lovely, with lovely views to the snow covered Pentlands away in the distance (extra).
We eventually set off, leaving BB behind as he had rugby commitments, and we think he was still suffering from his Hogmanay party!
We had a good journey, stopping off to buy some lunch, hastily eaten in a car park. We eventually got to York just before 5pm.
We had a quick catch up with TT’s mum, then got changed before we all headed out to meet up with TT’s brother and partner for an Italian meal. We had a great evening. We took TT’s mum home, and we went in search of a hostelry for a couple of drinks. TT’s brother and partner are both working tomorrow, so we were not out late.
These bright seeds caught my eye this morning. I think it’s an iris seed pod.
