Farewell....

To a great friend (again)

We have known Tom since school days, for the past few years he's been living in LA with his wife Holly who is American.

So far, he's managed to come 'home' every year around this time, to see his family and friends, so it's been great to catch up.

Today also happens to be mine and Mr L's wedding anniversary, so we decided to have an anniversary/farewell dinner with Tom and his parents.

I'm not great at goodbyes but it was so lovely to spend the evening this way.

And, I'm officially in holiday mode at last!
