New Beginnings

A very late start to the day and a rather lazy one.  I've done the ironing and also finished my letterbox shaped jigsaw of Whitby (636 pieces), which I really enjoyed doing, and JJ managed to keep his hands off it.

I had a wander around the garden early this afternoon, although it's been sunny all day and we really should have taken a brisk walk around the block.  

The helebores are just beginning to open and we still have a solitary snowdrop.  Everthing else is frozen solid.  The sparrowhawk has been in a couple of times that I've seen but gone off empty clawed.
