Clinic Day

Very icy morning with -4°C as getting up, didn’t really want a shower but thought better just incase.

Lift to the hospital & managed to park in the car park which is unusual, usually have to get dropped off.

After Appt went to café in RVB for sandwich & coffee & chat to John.

Dropped off home, pretty tired now.

Seen Dr Consultant Oncologist to see how I was recovering from operation and if understood the brief results had been given by Dr Surgeon on last appt.

More details given - type, sub-type, grade & why stage IVB (spread to) of Endometrial Cancer.

Explained best option treatments, when, where, how often, how long etc.

To go back for another CT scan but will seen in clinic again for further tests before starting treatment fairly soon.

Met new nurse that takes over my care from nurse at RIE.

Feel alittle bit more positive than being in the land of unknown and waiting …
