Homewards
We went to Woerden to get some food shopping done. We didn't need a lot of things, which was why we went out to do it, rather than get a supermarket delivery. My phone is still playing up in regards to connecting to the network, which means that when I'm out and about with Little Man, half the time my phone isn't connecting beyond to connect me to to the emergency services. I've tried everything with the exception of trying my SIM card in a different phone. That would tell me if the problem lies with my phone or with the provider.
Anyway, we had a lovely time out. Little Man and I have a tradition of going to Hema (a Dutch department store) for a coffee, for me, and a chocolate biscuit for Little Man. When we went into the supermarket, I used the handheld self scanner. It decided to flag my shop for a check, which then caused the lady to tell me off for not keeping my recept from another shop where I'd bought a packet of biscuits and a pack of refills for my Bolsius ClearLight Holders. I've never been threatened like that. Given if she'd made an issue out of it, the biscuits had the price sticker on them from the shop I'd bought them in and I'd have demanded to see the CCTV as I hadn't gone down or stopped on the aisles where the candles and refills were. I guess the lady was just doing her job.
We got home and had a quiet afternoon at home. My life group came round this evening, which was lovely but has left me trying to find reasons to get out of church activities I'd rather not attend.
