Dougal and Florence

Not much to say about today as my throat decided to swell up, causing difficulty swallowing, eating and talking. I did not attend the u3a committee meeting!
 
Today’s picture is of Dougal and Florence. Dougal is getting thinner and thinner and not eating very much. He likes to be hand fed with chicken and small tasty pieces. He is seventeen and a half and I am afraid he will not be with us much longer. They spend a lot of time together and Florence often washes his face and ears.
 
The temperature, at noon today, was one degree Celsius.
