Dry River Bed

Today was my book group meeting at my friend's house in the Westhills of Portland.  The main photo is part of the landscaping. It is man-made which is the challenge for Wide Wednesday. The extra images are also man-made parts of the landscape; there is a pond with waterfalls, and a Labyrinth. My friend hosts groups who want to walk the labyrinth during a mindfulness retreat.  

Tonight I used the homemade chicken broth from the freezer and made vegetable soup for dinner. I also used a bag of frozen rhubarb and apples from the freezer to make a fruit crisp. It was good to use some things we found hidden under the frost and everything was yummy.
