Early Rider…..

A very early start for a walk this morning. I drove to the Omaka Ford car park not long after sunrise. Then I set out to walk to the Meadowbank Bridge in the upper Taylor River. A cyclist wearing red shot past as we walked along an elevated section of the track on the true right of the river. It was very chilly for the time of year. I wished I was wearing gloves.
The sunlit hills in the distance are part of Meadowbank Station….
