Freezing funghi

Yesterday we had a cracking frost in the morning, l thought the funghi looked rather find with icy edges.  This is the one l posted on 31st December, still going strong although the sweet wee purple one succumbed to the frost.
The extra tells a story.  As l walked back home carrying the paper l slipped on some ice and  landed on my bum.  As I started to pick myself up thinking "thank heavens noone was about to see my indignity" l reached for the paper and saw this advertisement, it did make me laugh - it sure was a pain.
I am thinking to go to the local U3A talk this morning, only thing holding me back is the -3° temperature.
