Highland home

This little greystone cottage is absolutely typical of many dotted all over the Highlands of Scotland, home to humble crofter, cotter, farm worker , fisherman - Highlander. The wildflowers grow profusely on the banks of the River Garry at the front of the building, and although this is not actually the building either of my beloved Grannies lived in, the very appearance of it brings back many many personal memories for me, making me want to include it in my journal.
