Solder

Home mid-morning from the overnighter at work and spent a quiet rest of day at home where, amongst other things, I managed to successfully fix the problem I've been having with my turntable. Thanks for the lend of the soldering iron Russell - it worked!

And then out at teatime for a screening of A Real Pain at the local multiplex. I liked it a lot, plenty of laughs and a real emotional heart as well. I also liked the very-heavily-discounted-for-January food and drink afterwards across the road at The Fountain too. 

By the way, rather conveniently some new records arrived in the post just as I was fixing that turntable of mine. It would have been plain rude not to give them a spin...
