Glow in the dark terriers….

Another chilly day. Amazingly all the drinking troughs were still running this morning so no defrosting with kettle’s required . Once everything was fed , set about clearing up the sides of the silage pit to make room for the 16 tons of sheep feed I’ve ordered this morning. It will need to wait until the snow melts a bit as there is no way a lorry would get up our yard just now.
The scan man was at wee brother’s next door this morning to pregnancy test some of his ewes. Didn’t go to plan as a lot of his Texel ewes were empty- one tup had been working for the first cycle then not fertile.
So he will be off to market.
These new fluorescent led collars arrived for the 2 terrorists today as I’m fed up not being able to see them when out feeding cattle in the morning and I’d hate to run them over with the tractor. Got different colours so I know who is who.
Very cold tonight. Presume I will need kettles ready to defrost things in the morning…..
