Anthurium "Zizou"

Back to our usual routine of garden centre coffee and cake.  The advantage of a garden centre over just a café with coffee and cake is it makes more of the visit with hopefully lots to see and provide interest.  Having said that I have never known garden centre so devoid of anything in flower not to mention a shortage of plants.  Even the Hellebores were looking the worse for wear because of the heavy frost.

So I turned my attention to indoor plants.  This Anthurium caught my eye.  They are a plant I know little or nothing about so I have been looking them up.  I was surprised to find they are usually epiphytic.  They are potentially harmful to people and pets both if eaten and they are irritant to skin and eyes.
