A day in the life

The meeting about the code-locks at the theatre went as well as could be expected. Everyone had an opportunity to express their frustration about the situation with the locks causing chaos because they are too complicated. The locks will stay where they are though and we concentrated on what we can do to facilitate the use of them, by rewriting and simplify the instructions and give it a test at the next two weekends  of revue-performances, and then have another round. Our boss will also contact the company behind the locks to see if they can be programmed differently, to serve our purposes.

During my long walk I passed this old tree stump next to a small pond along the way and found these age-prints in the bark quite comforting, diminishing our small problems hugely.
