Feierabend!
German for "I've just finished work and have a helluva drouth".
For the non Scots in Bliposphere, a drouth means a serious thirst (not quenchable with water).
Not my most inspired Blip, but it was one of those days. Lots of work, at my desk. Not a lot else.
So at 5:30 I jumped on my bike and went down the hill at the speed of light to Betty Nicol's.
An educational trip. Learned (via a leaflet about the town's Adam Smith Trail) that Betty Nichol's can be traced back to 1741. This means it's possible Adam Smith was a patron as well. No proof, but he liked a refreshment apparently and the choice in a place the size of Kirkcaldy (pop. 2,296 back then) can't have been huge.
