sinking
I had to be in town for a work team meeting this afternoon so I went in earlier and had a wonderful walk along the Nith to Kingholm Quay. Everywhere was crisp and frosty, with hazy sunshine. I was glad of the warmth of my newly finished hat (see extra). I really liked the pattern of the crown. Now trying to decide what to knit next to improve on different techniques. Maybe some gloves? I have plenty of wool left in my stash :-)
My walk through Dock Park took me past the obelisk which is a memorial to John Law Hume, violinist, and Thomas Mullin, steward. Both perished in the sinking of the Titanic.
