Through the window

Another quick blip! I decided that this year I would not do quick blips, but here I go again with a quick one of a  Cape Sparrow.
I have spent much of the day helping an elderly friend get ready to move from her rented accommodation to a more permanent one. She lost her husband five months ago and has become frail and unable to lift the heavier boxes etc.  I was glad I could help her. Her family were all busy working today but will help over the next few days with her move.
It's been extremely hot again today.
Daughter Penni arrived in Johannesburg today after a long flight. It's so good to know that she is only a short plane trip away now. So much closer than NYC!
