A Gift from Casablanca

Baadiya, my lady who does, returned after the holiday break this morning bringing me this most beautiful gift of six coasters with an eminently Moroccan design. Although I wouldn't be surprised if they were made in China. It's even sparkly.

We didn't go out today, except for Len taking Basil for a promenade this morning. It was so cold and dull.

This afternoon, I decided to tackle some  problems that had arisen over the holiday. Len's PIN didn't work on his credit card. It took me three attempts before I could work out how to tell the credit card issuer. Then, I needed to get a VISA security card from my bank. Reader, it's not straightforward.

Then my Barclaycard statement came in. Three unrecognised transactions. I won't bore you with the details but I think I got it sorted out. Just no credit card in hand for the foreseeable future.
