Oil on water

Before Christmas we had a talk at the camera club about "at home" photography. One of the suggestions that I've never tried is photographing oil on water, until today. I quite enjoyed it and now have a few shots to show at next weeks "show and tell". 

Popped over to see Mum and help her put away the Christmas tree and sort out what we'll be doing on Friday re: weekly food shopping. There is still an awful lot of snow and ice around, especially on the side roads and with the temperatures not set to get over zero in the next few days, it won't be going anywhere. Mum won't drive in this weather so we'll pick her up for shopping and then take the opportunity to go out for lunch too on Friday.
