Looking at a Frost

A rather cold frosty start to the day in Lincoln today and I was up fairly early to wait for news on the Car which was having its MOT this morning . I finally heard from my Mechanic mid morning to say he was bringing the car to me and then I could drop him back off at his house. only a small job need to get it through a dust cover on the suspension joint was split and needed to be replaced . There is a couple of advisories to get done in the warmer weather towards the summer shock absorber casing covers are going to need to be replaced . My Mechanic is nearly 70 and works part time from home so he agrees it will be better in the warmer weather for him to do the work so both happy .
once back home it was time to look at car insurance as it is due on the 15th . My current insurers  Hastings wanted to try and increase the cost by over £500  so it was on to compare the market and do a search , I had to change my details firstly to unemployed which put prices up annoyingly . the searches came back with Esure coming in at half the price at £488 so got onto Hastings they said the could bring theirs down but only to around £720 still a disgrace that a phone call and they bring it down , still not good enough so they have cancelled my renewal with them and all paid up with Esure  for a year .

This afternoon a quick walk in the local park to find a blip and still rather frosty as you can see of this shot of the flowerbeds hopefully the plants survive . I have tagged this shot for Wide on Wednesday as they are manmade by a great parks department  thanks to StevenG for hosting .

Thinking about tea but still early for that  but we will watch some more cup football this evening on TV Spurs V Liverpool
