The wind is up and
the quality is poor, so
I am staying home

The wind began to rattle around the house just as i was getting to bed last night. This morning when I finally got up there was eerie light in the east and all the palms were flapping like the flags. I took a walk around the house and out to the mailbox on the street. 

We're promised a partly cloudy day but the wind is the big concern. We have been given an air quality alert with a high pollution advisory for today. " An episode of strong and gusty winds is forecast to generate widespread blowing dust that may result in local PM-10 concentrations that pose a health risk. Adverse health effects increase as air quality deteriorates."

Thankfully, this does not happen often. It will be a day at home for me.
