Snow on Causey Pike

The snow seems set to remain for a few days, and a glorious sunny morning gave me ample opportunity to shoot around Strandshag bay.

The textures on the sunlit snow on Causey pike, and the sweep of shadow at the edges of the frame to hold the eye into the picture were irresistible.
