On This Day

First of all thank you so much to everyone who commented on and left stars and hearts yesterday for my 10 year blip anniversary. It's quite overwhelming and my hazel catkins are on the popular page because of all the generosity. I hope I've thanked everyone individually but if not I will do so soon.

Today is another beautiful winter day. Last week I blipped some snowy hills which I couldn't really identify. Blipper AmBioran kindly helped me out. I know that today's snowy peak is Ben Lomond, the most southerly Munro.

Cameraman and I walked round the streets to check that the gritting is still ok (it mostly is) then walked over Gowan Hill, up to the castle and home. It's not a massive distance (about 9K steps) but there's a lot of up and down. The view west was terrific.

I have more walking to do this afternoon as I'm on school pick up duty for the girls. The trains aren't terribly well timed so I always have 30 minutes to spare to have a wander.
