Cold and very frosty outside this morning - MisterWhisper has the right idea sticking his head under a blanket in his 'office' bed.

No matter how much I "make" his bed for him he scruffles it up into a tangled mess.

Speaking of dog beds - this one is quite old (but in good condition - brand Danish Design - others are available) - I have been looking online (and in the shops) for a new, softer one as he is getting older ......... woweee - expensive or what!!!!

I then had the bright (!) idea of buying a single 10.5 tog duvet and separate cover online for the princely sum of £17.98 (US$ 23.00) and using that sort-of folded into four - as much as you can fold a duvet - instant softness and, probably, more warmth.  You can just see the patterned gold/white cover in the photo.  Also a bit of the pillow that he mostly pushes out.
Job done, dog comfy and lots of money saved - well, I am from Yorkshire after all.   :o))
