Deer …..
…………… at the bottom end of Lake Hayes, this morning.
They were on tenterhooks so I was lucky to capture them.
We’d walked through the wetlands and seen pied stilts, plus there were Crested Grebes carying babies and many shags & white fronted herons (on the far left) perched on a tree skeleton - Extras. It was a super walk, and fairly early, so not too hot.
It was about 8kms and took a couple of hours.
