Birthday Flowers

I meet my friend I haven't seen for a while for lunch. It was lovely catching up with her. She gave me a lovely Hydrangea plant. It is a cutting she had grown from one of her lovely Hydrangeas for me. 

Later in the day my cousin and her husband called in with these lovely lilies from her garden, for my birthday. Luckily they don't have a very strong scent so I can have them inside. 

The weather was to have been wet and cold. Luckily we got the rain overnight and so far today there hasn't been any rain at all. We even had some sunshine.
