Afternoon walk

We went to Aldi via the canal. This is part of the canal that leads to a tunnel under Edgware Road and going towards Regents Park and onwards to Docklands. The main is looking away from the tunnel the extras are the barges on permanent moorings and the tunnel with an Italian restaurant on top.

The Basin at Little Venice is the meeting point of three branches of the canal system.

1) Where we join the canal for our walks is the Grand Union but it finishes at Little Venice.
2) The above section is Regents Canal which leaves Little Venice to go through London to Docklands and into the River Thames.
3) The third branch leaving Little Venice is a short section which goes to Paddington called Paddington Basin.
