The sun!

Miss H and the kids came over this morning as the weather forecast wasn’t too bad. She’d had a very difficult weekend so decided it would be good to share the looking after of the kids with us, and have a little bit of R&R. Believe me she more than deserves it.

We had great fun sledging in the park, but I liked this shot of the (not forecast) snow starting to fall again and the sun trying to make an appearance. For info this was taken at 14:05 today so way before it starts dropping dark.

With the extra snow and the severe ice, they have ended up staying the night. Didn’t want to risk getting stuck on the M62 with the kids on board.
