Snow clearing

I really wanted to get out for a walk today but I couldn't have made it back up our hill. I decided instead to spend a couple of hours in the garden clearing the steps and a bit of a pathway. Reg was helping of course! I threw him a few snowballs to keep him entertained and we were both happy in the sunshine, despite the cold.
Thank you to everyone who sent good wishes for my MiL. I have had numerous phone calls to follow up her GP referral and help is starting to arrive. Her daughter will also be arriving tomorrow for a couple of days so she will be able to take the reins and hopefully get things in place.
Meantime my own mum is not at her best. I'm booked to go down and visit in a couple of weeks. 
The snow is beautiful but I'm not happy being confined even though I have lots I could do.
