Mud mud glorious mud

Woke this morning to more rain rather than the ice the weather warning had promised.
I took the dogs to one of the local dog paddocks that had a spare hour. It was one we hadn't visited before, 10 acres of shrubland on Bodmin moor. The dogs enjoyed exploring but with the recent downpours there was a lot of mud. They didn't seem to mind until they got home and both had to be hosed down before going into the house.
On the way back home we had to slow down through Bodmin for the gritter, so it looks like it will freeze tonight.
