River Medway in flood

It was going to be a blip of the sunrise today. In the end the Medway ran out. It’s in a bit of a hurry and threatening to flood communities upstream of Maidstone. No chance of our usual walking route along the banks of the river between Maidstone and Allington Lock.

We’d gone into town to supplement of supply of nuts and seeds from Aldi along with olive oils too. Enjoyed an excellent coffee, as always, at Waterstones.

Not much of the afternoon left by the time we got home. That bit of time was taken up by finally completing and posting off our Power of Attorneys. Phew! And some emails then cooking. Time to put the feet up and catch up on some TV
