Beef & Potatoes!

Cycling home today and passing a field all I could hear from the other side of the hedge was crunch crunch crunch!

So I stopped and was amazed to see a herd of about 8 cows chomping on a trailer full of potatoes!! They seemed to be loving it!

I didn't know cows ate potatoes so I Googled it when I got home and found this:

"This used to be a fodder for cows back in the old days when people could not afford to buy hay. It is a favorite of some cows."
