Weighty matters
We all know bones are important and that women of my age are particularly susceptible to osteopenia and osteoporosis, (brittle bones).
I also realised, due to this podcast with our local GP, that in order to prevent osteoporosis we should be taking action now.
Oddly being overweight helps my bone mineral density (but not a lot of other things obvs.), but many of my friends are slim and this can be a problem for bones...
Kerri has recently bought a weighted training vest which she brought to Tuesday Tea today. We all tried it on and discussed the impact of the 'body armour' look on the Linton community.
