Snowdrops

Yet another miserable windy and rather damp day. When will this awful weather stop. It’s been so mild and dry of late that I am really taking bad at the moment.

It was yet another slow-ish morning.  I eventually got myself out for some provisions and fresh air. Meanwhile TT finished the jigsaw that he started on Boxing Day 2023!! It’s an OS map, a section of the Cairngorms. When he started it he said it would be a dawdle. However the endless contour lines got too much for him!!

In the afternoon I took myself out for a rather dreich walk, and was glad to get home. We had a combination of leftovers for tea. We were all heading out to New Year parties. BB looked very smart as he headed off to meet up with friends, and we scrubbed up ok too, as we headed off to our party.

We had a fabulous night. Lots if drink, food, great company, a quiz, Secret Santa, karaoke, and more. We got home in the wee small hours, but before BB!

I spotted these snowdrops this afternoon and had to crawl under a tree to get a picture. The extra is the same as yesterday, but as it was getting dark tonight. Just realised that today’s blip and extra are the reverse of yesterday’s blip and extra!!

Today really completes my eleven years of blipping, as I began on 1January 2014, with little thought of what to blip, but I really liked the idea of it. I think I’ve got into the swing of it now!!
