Reflective Haircut
Ann went off to Birmingham today to see a client, I walked Dylan, managing to get round before the heavy rain. I then tackled the incredibly complicated issue of buying a couple of railway tickets.
Once upon a time buying a train ticket was easy, you went to the station, told the man where you wanted to go (and if you wanted to come back) and paid him some money. Now it is still possible to do this, though with more and more stations becoming unmanned, it's not always possible. Also there's the issue of what time you want to travel, and on whose train you'd like to ride, and trying to work out if two single tickets is cheaper than a return - and the time of travel is paramount in this as fares vary widely depending on the time of day. Then there's the issue of splitting journeys, the journey from Stratford upon Avon to Liverpool with one change varies widely in price depending on changing at Birmingham or Smethwick Galton Bridge.
So this afternoon we went for our usual at Nero, and I took this picture on leaving the café. It might be worth viewing large as there is a lot going on, and it's not always easy to tell the reflection from the inside of the barbers shop.
