Street Corner Series

Monday.  Broadway at Hamilton.  Another bright and mild day, it's going to be a very pretty week around here, weather wise.

I'm always amazed how quickly the hummingbirds come back after I've been away.  I filled the feeder on Saturday afternoon and the first one arrived within the hour. Occasionally we have a territorial h-bird, see him in the extra sitting on top of the metal railing on the balcony.  They're usually only able to keep this up for a day, maybe two, then somehow their dominance over the nectar is wrested away and the sharing with the neighborhood cohort returns to normal.  It's fascinating to watch.
