No snow when I got up at 6am.

But my 7.30am when Bill went out after his breakfast there was more than a healthy helping.

At 9.30am when I left for my meeting it was somewhat treacherous given none of the roads had been gritted - the car did a couple of sideways slides!

Though thankfully on my way home at 12.30 the roads had been gritted and it was virtually gone.

But then at 4.30pm, when I was having a stomp round Bourton after my haircut, I nearly ended up on the ground with several black ice patches on the pavements!

It's very pretty this white stuff but does make things a wee bit tricky!
