Wanaka

The photo is of the Wanaka Tree, apparently a famous landmark much beloved of influencers and locals. It sits near the edge of Lake Wanaka, where J and I kayaked around lunchtime, which I had never done before. We paddled out to Ruby Island and back which took just under 2 hours, so was quite an adventure. We then spent the afternoon at the house in the hot sun, and later J&L went out for dinner while we cooked at the house and looked after Amber. When it got dark we went in the hot tub and looked up at the stars.
