My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

It has been another very quiet day here in Paraparaumu. 

The trains are not yet running which is another reason for me not to head into the office. Yet some people still are. 

Luke asked me today if I was in. I replied only, "This week??? Are you INSANE, man????"

He told me that there were only four other people in the office with him.

So I spent another happy meeting-free day playing with my spreadsheets. I've also started a little project of archiving old photos, and other old documents in the cloud. 

Caro, for her part, has been delighted that I've managed to download programmes from iPlayer again. It's been a while, but the software seems to be working ok. 

As a result she is bingeing "Dalziel & Pascoe" a tv show from the 90's about Yorkshire detectives. It's hilarious. They are resolutely dour and miserable in every single episode.

"Aye 'appen they are an' all," I say. "There's nobbut to be 'appy about in Yorkshire. Now then, I've said me piece."

Fortunately for me, Caro finds this amusingly charming.
