Kings day with queens

Everyone received a little gift in their shoe this morning - tradition is you leave a shoe out for the Kings to leave a present in.
We also ate traditional roscón cake and Asha had the ceramic king in her slice, so won the crown. Danny got the bean.
Later in the day, in the rain, we went and collected Gemma and found an open place for coffee. So lovely to see her again, it feels like she's been away for ages!
And then this evening Susanna and I met up with Sara.
Home about 11,30 to all kids awake still, including Asha's friend who's here for a sleepover.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Fun opening the little gifts.
2) Hilarity with Gemma.
3) Good soul conversation with Sara and Susanna.
