Monday: Sunrise

We went up into town today to go to the ‘The 80s: Photographing Britain’ at the Tate Britain.  It was an excellent exhibition and pretty sizeable.  A lot of documentary photography from various political events, demonstrations, communities etc.  And a good reminder of some things we had forgotten.  K. spent some time peering at the photo of ‘Merseyside Women at Greenham Common’ to see if there was anyone she recognized.

From there we went up to Oxford Street as we had been wanting to pop into Uniqlo.  It was a time filler as we were due to meet A at 6pm.  Anyway, a couple of purchases were made.

Then on to meet A, who is over from Vancouver, for a few drinks near Covent Garden.  We really enjoyed the vibe of being out in town, even if it was pretty chilly.
