Oh did we get snow!

I think by the end of the day it may have actually been 10 inches. It was def 8 inches. In addition to negative triggers there are positive triggers and my inner child was giddy. My outer adult knew I’d have to shovel but my inner child did not care. 

Teleworkers, like me, still had to work even though the fed gov was technically shut down.

(They should reprint them.) The best selling stamp was a Ukrainian tractor towing a captured Russian tank and a greeting: "Good evening, we're from Ukraine." They sold stamps of the mine sniffing dog, Patron. They sold stamps depicting a Banksy mural and funded 10 bomb shelters. 

The telecom cables connecting Estonia and Finland have been repaired after suspected sabotage. Another should be repaired Jan 10. 

Ukraine hit five Russian air defense systems worth about $350 million in one day. Russia lost two Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun systems, one OSA air defense system, and two S-300 air defense systems.
