The night after the night before!

Sunday we had power cuts! One meant we had to go out for a hot lunch but then the other lasted overnight. The poor workmen were digging up the power cables outside the house until about 5am! In freezing rain and most definitely horrendous conditions. Unfortunately their flashing lights and generators meant probably half the street was awake half the night! As it was right outside my bedroom window, I certainly was!
Tonight is a clear night. No power cut as yet although we did have a text to say that the fix was only temporary, so we’re braced for more disruption!
