Iona ...where else?

Back blip Mull camping trip day 6

Today the weather was fantastic so we went to Iona for the day. I took this shot from the ferry as we arrived and I liked the mist rolling away to reveal the Abbey and the rest of the island. It is the first time in many visits I have been disappointed with Iona...just too many people. We did however have a fantastic lunch of island produce at the Argyll Hotel on the front, highly recommended.


We left early and headed to the camp site beach where we spent the afternoon playing with the newly acquired boogie boards.

I had lots of shots of today but as it was the Iona visit I thought I'd better mark the occasion with an Iona photo.
