Whose Line Is It Anyway?

Whilst I quite like a fluid flexible approach to a script, it isn’t particularly fair to those around me who are patiently waiting for their cue line.

To this end and with the show opening on Friday, I thought it was time that I should probably take a more detailed look at my lines and was embarrassed to find that on more than one occasion I heard myself say: “Oh! That’s what I should be saying there!”

I enlisted the help of my executive assistant on this project; The Youngest, and she was a hard taskmaster and no mistake.

It was also an incredibly useful exercise and I was delighted to find that she couldn’t wait to help.

There’s been a lot of that from the family today, who despite leading their own busy lives, are finding time for me so that I might enjoy my ridiculous hobby for the next couple of weeks!
