Glint

Worra day. Was rudely awakened at 5:20am by the telltale spattering and drip-drip-drip of a roof leak. I wasn't able to get back to sleep because of the torturous dripping, but thankfully the snow stopped around 7:30am so the dripping eased off. It turns out our agency doesn't open until 10am for me to be able to report it though, and I was rather vexed when the agent told me their usual roofer was out of the country so I would have to wait til next week for anyone to come out... I beggeth your finest pardon?! I decided to rat them out to the landlord because frankly I'm done with this kind of crap from them, and wouldn't you know it, a roofer is coming by tomorrow now... Sincerely hope there's no more rain or snow until it gets looked at. Work was busy, sinuses are still jammed, headache kicked in during the afternoon. Is hibernation an option for humans?...
